Nigeria Netherland Chamber of Commerce

Our History

The Nigerian Netherlands Chamber of Commerce was established in 1978 by a group of business minded individuals whose main interest was to create an official medium through which individuals and business organizations from both Nigeria and the Netherlands could be assisted for the purpose of engaging in fruitful business relationship.

Since its inception, the body has maintained close ties with notable institutions in the Netherlands particularly, the Netherlands African Business Council and the Embassy of Nigeria in The Hague.

The main objective of the Chamber is to promote and protect trade, agriculture and industrial relations between the Netherlands and Nigeria and to foster strong economic ties and the flow of material goods and technologies between the two countries.

The impressive representation of companies from the Netherlands in joint-venture and other arrangements with Nigerian businessmen is an eloquent testimony of existing ties. From this point, the Chamber could be seen as an important factor in the economies of both countries.
